Parents in the small town of Rantoul have learned of a local daycare worker testing positive for monkeypox. This is the third known case in the county. State health officials declined to name the facility but vowed to screen every child at risk on Friday. The CDC is now tracking more than 75,000 cases, with the largest outbreaks in New York, California, and Florida. The Biden administration, which this week declared a public health emergency, comes under pressure to make more vaccines that remain in short supply.
